Funny cos that’s part of the reason I was sure it was him too. He seems to have acquired an 'equals sign' scar on his muzzle/nose, very similar to what Nhena had, though more obvious and visible. I think it’s quite cool personally. RE: Avoca Male Lions and Their Male Lineage - Ngonya - 10-31-2024 almost sure thats 1/2 Nkuhuma males at KNP 1:25pm (October 29) 1 Lion stationary A male lying in the shade. im not 100% familiar with Kruger maps but i remember a few months ago Nkuhlu males were often posted around H1-2 RE: Avoca Male Lions and Their Male Lineage - KM600 - 10-31-2024 (10-31-2024, 12:07 AM)Ngonya Wrote: almost sure thats 1/2 Nkuhuma males at KNP Ye the long face very much looks like Ridge Nose son, the mane too. RE: Avoca Male Lions and Their Male Lineage - KM600 - 10-31-2024 Plains Camp Male, I hope to see this boy form a coalition with some of the nearby males in the near future. He was seen at Kruger Gate. RE: Avoca Male Lions and Their Male Lineage - Ngonya - 11-01-2024 Nkuhuma young males during the last few days, *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author by Marcél Du Plessis

RE: Avoca Male Lions and Their Male Lineage - Ngonya - 11-01-2024 darker Nkuhuma boy, Ridge Nose's son at KNP RE: Avoca Male Lions and Their Male Lineage - Ngonya - 11-01-2024 (11-01-2024, 12:01 AM)Ngonya Wrote: Nkuhuma young males during the last few days, they were both chased by 2 of the 3 Imbali males *This image is copyright of its original author

RE: Avoca Male Lions and Their Male Lineage - T_Ferguson - 11-01-2024 It would be sad if S. Avoca was the last Avoca at this point, but he hasn't been seen in a couple of days either right? Maybe we'll all get that fairy tale and the 2 of them will show up together. That said, Mohawk going back to his sons like that is sort of a worrying sign as I've seen so many stories of lions making rounds when the end comes to see old prides and such before going off to pass on. The Southern Avoca Male is sighted with Kruger Male at North Sabi Sands on October 29, 2024, more specifically they are at the Kruger boundary and no news of Mohawk but his last sighting from what I remember is October 11, 2024 and Mohawk's last place of sighting is near where the Southern Avoca and Kruger Male is at on October 29, 2024. |
