good old waghdoh..glad he's still around when almost all of tigers from his generations are gone. Yeda Anna, Shivaji , Vasant Bandhara to name a view.
then from other park we have B2, Bokha, Bamera, Raja, Agashtya, Munna, Banda, Pattewala, Naak kata, Star male, Jhumroo, Machli, Khali etc...really ..these names brought back memories of old ava.
from the picture bellow i belive only two of them are still alive, but Waghdoh is the only one who still lives in the wild.

6' HBL is fairly standard and he looks to be just about 6' or slightly less.
Just for comparison, the Sauraha Male was 6'5" in a straight line.

Great observation. Sauraha being a Terai male should be longer. From the naked eye, the males from the whole terai belt look longer in general. That Rajaji specimen is still the longest I've seen, at least in photos.
I believe Central Indian males are less longer yet so robust. I love that build. Especially the one's from Bandhavgarh. They just have this build (Very perfect proportions) and robust. Prime Waghdoh was up there in terms of sheer beauty.
But overall I believe its Kazi and Dudhwa males and few from Nepal and Corbett that seem to have both the length and also the muscles.
I've also felt that Nagarhole tigers look longer as well compared to Central Indian tigers. But they lack that build. I might be wrong. Because I've never been to Nagarhole. Only seen photos.

Measuring, I'm getting 198 cm in a straight line. The measurement of the track that needs to be used is a bit behind the arrow. Two questions, is 168 cm the diameter in the rims of the tracks or including the outer border of the rims. Next, was Sauraha measured in a straight line or was it somewhat over curves?

Straight line for Sauraha male.
M2 for instance was a 2.4 year old from Kanha and he measured 205cm over the curves and weighed 195kg..
His tail was an additional 92cm and shoulder height was 125cm.
Over the curves protocol for all.

So looks like Wagdoh is give or take similar in length to Sauraha accounting for perspective distortion and Wagdoh being in standing position. I wonder how his girth compares.

His front portion over the track looks slightly further than half way... let's say 90cm
His back portion over the tracks on the other side looks to not be as long as the front, let's say 80-85cm
Total length of 170-175cm.
Remember you must measure to the base of the tail not where his foreleg and back leg reach to.
That being said, he's slumped down in the front and his spine is curved a bit, if we we're to to lay him straight with his head resting on the ground and body straightened, he may reach that 190 ish cm mark.

I feel the arrow is in the wrong position. I am not on a desktop at the moment so I can’t use images. Look at the small mound of dirt in front of the back of his forefoot. Following that trail the arrow is too close to the camera. On top of that, the part of the photo that is to be measured would sit even further behind his forefoot, further making the arrow’s location too close to the camera.

In terms of physical frame, Waghdoh isn't particularly impressive but he is just stout. Even his skull size seems to be pretty average.

The body may be in in little curvature. So, length may be even more. Wagdoh is huge specimen as far as I know.
