I totaly agree! As I have said before rhinos are just about as tough as it get's! First now in resent years i see some young rhino kills from Phinda and Sabi Sands, but still only young rhinos 2,5 years tops!! And still quite large elephants in savuti, Moremi, and chobe is taken every year!

Its like the instance of the two young tigers who fought a lone tiger and one of the younger tigers died and the other escaped apparently. (I forget the tigers involved) I know the guards tried to stop it on elephant back but to no avail, I'm sure @Roflcopters knows which account I am talking about.
It seems that #'s matter but first they need to mature. Until they have enough battles and confidence from said battles, they won't pose much of a threat to an established and battle tested veteran.

Yes sadly he's dead, he was an extreamly old lion! he apparentley just disapeared and got to die in peace, The Body from what i know was never found, most likely hyenas, jackals and vultures found him first!

He looks like a good sized lion to me. Its hard to tell when only using a female to scale.
