Infinite plains, wild herds, cowboys, horizon as far as the eye reaches, swaying prairie grasses, aromas of dust, of mud, of horse, of leather, of hot soil... and these sunsets ? "I am in awe of how beautiful the savannah looks from a horse. It was my first time on a horse and it was truly magical! The place, the people and the animals gave me an experience I will for sure never forget. Being in awe is how I would describe my time there. After one month in Colombia and 6 months backpacking all over the world this is still one of my favourite moments of the whole experience." The experience was magical and one of the reasons I fell in love with Ndutu. This was how it was at Hidden Valley in 2015 and though I have been back every year at the same time, I not witnessed the same cauldron of dust and the numbers of zebra and wildebeest, until this March. This year was close to the same volume of animals, but there was no dust as it was lush green. Now 2021...
