This so called questionable, "genius" thread was carefully concieved, The Karadashians is one of the highest watched shows on TV, don't confuse popularity with substance. Just because a thread is "active" doesn't mean its good. Everybody slows down to check out a car wreck. RE: Lion or tiger cub as a pet - brotherbear - 08-11-2014 I would really enjoy raising a lion or a tiger cub in my home. I can just imagine playing with him in my back yard. But, just as soon as he is old enough to possibly kill and eat the neighbor's dog ( or their children ) I would give to to someone more capable of tending to him; a zoo or animal sactuary prearranged. If all the necessary bases could be covered - strictly hypothetical - it would definitely be a blast. Kevin Richardson and Dave salmoni - for example - have experienced the type of bond with their lions and tigers respectively that warm the heart. There are countless examples in the U.S. alone, of people successfully and unsuccessfully , who have given it a go. There was a video a while back, of two Brits who bought a lion cub, raised it, and gave it to George Adamson of "born free" fame for successful re-entry into the wild. Some time later they venture to Afica and find their now fullgrown lion and the happy reunion was captured on tape for all to see. I fully understand thats the exception and not the rule.
