RE: The Mighty Mapogos - Delyrium - 03-13-2025 @BA0701 Thank you very much for the welcome. @Mapokser I see, it was a different time back then, no need for names when some physical identifier was enough to track them when needed. That kind of decisions is what add to the Mapogo Mythology, @KM600 That's a nice tidbit. These Rollercoaster/Shaw Males are the half-bros of the Mapogos, or believed to be, right?? reading about it seems things were somewhat more compact in territory back then, or there was more Lion population. Both sets of WSM sons conquered the Sparta pride at some point. Totally agree with you about Makhulu, rather than rule as a lone King he went with his half-bros to become legends. RE: The Mighty Mapogos - Mapokser - 03-13-2025 Rather than different times it was just that MalaMala doesn't like to give lion names. They didn't called the Mapogo by their names either. But yeah the Rollercoaster were half-brothers of the Mapogo, ɓorn in the Charleston pride. They where new in the area and came from the north/east, its believed these young females become Torchwood pride, but from where they came its unknown. RE: The Mighty Mapogos - FACR2212 - 04-07-2025 The male killed by Matimbas was bigger in mid 2012, no doubt, and whisker pattern doesn't match either. Was Blondie younger than him? That youtube account is claiming as a fact that both fourways are Mapogo sons, without showing evidence... Was Blondie younger than him? Not sure, as we have no info about them before 2012. Watching Blondie now on those photos, quite remarkable he was still alive last year, legendary lion. The loss of Rasta was a really big blow, just as the loss of KT was even bigger, but, I still believe that the loss of Dreadlocks, to poachers, was the biggest loss to the 6 Mapogos. They had been able to regroup and recover from all of the others, and Dreadlocks played a big role in that. Once Dreadlocks was killed, the end of the Mapogo reign came relatively quickly afterwards. So basically you saying that two Majingis killed Rasta and badly injured PB? As you stated there is no injuries on other two Majingis. This seems highly unlikely scenario to me. RE: The Mighty Mapogos - Tr1x24 - 04-13-2025 @Spaske You made new thread for your "PB vs Selati" post, which is unnecessary, as that post and question belongs to this thread. I cant move that post here as its only post on that thread, so you should repost it here again. Unnecessary thread you made will be deleted. Cheers. I didn't say that. 4 Selatis killed Mr.T and only one had very noticeable injuries. Just because only 2 were seen with some injuries doesn't mean they were the only ones involved. |
