I worry about these cubs, the Majingilane are quite old but still strong, nevertheless in a confrontation with younger stronger males for the pride take over it is not certain who might win, if they lose those cubs will pay the price, lets hope they will make it.

Two of the Othawa Cubs trying to stay as low as possible when one of the Majingilane Males warned them that they were getting too close to the section of the Buffalo he was feeding on. The Male's paw came up and he placed it carefully between the cub and himself. An Elephant joined them for a short while as he stood watching the pride of lions, it disturbed the feeding for a moment as he gave them a very short lived charge and decided it was better to move on and continue feeding.

the first photo of #246 shows a significant difference between Scar Nose and Hip Scar, HS is very skinny at his lower back, this is the most vulnerable point of all lions but gives them a great flexibility, in their fights between them this point they attack to kill each other, even cubs bite each other at this point

Crocodile killed a buffalo calf male lion(Scarnose of Majingilane coalition) considered stealing the carcass but couldn't brave swimming past the crocodile to get to carcass. Watch the crocodile pushes the carcass to the deeper and more the centre of dam.
As always, the Majingilane show the power of the brotherhood.
You can't do something on your own? You get your brothers and you get it done. And anyone that doesn't like it has to move or it's removed...

very well said, the Majingilane will not, for sure, stay in the history as brave warriors but as thoughtful strategists, and this charecteristc allowed them to be still around and unharmed.
even during the recent events with the Ginger/Matimba, it looks that they didn't get involved, even though one of the Majins was around there.

Now, I agree that they are clever strategists, as far as it goes in lion style.
But I want to know @LionKiss , what is for you the mark of a "brave warrior"?
Getting killed for nothing? Drifting away and get yourself surrounded and beaten, possibly killed by rival males?

this a very reasonable human way of thinking but Lions are not humans
Lions are driven by their instincts and emotions, even humans react sometimes like this
and you can see different behavior even in the same coalition, even the same lion could act differently under the similar cirumstances.
for example MrT run away the night Kinky Tail was killed but he did not run away against the Selatis the day he died.
Makalu and PB run away that day and became nomads.
The Majingilane are smart they act all together, they don't take risks individually, even when they killed that Othawa sub adult about a year ago they surrounded all 3 of them, the play safe.
In the history of mankind there are several examples where humans reacted like Kinky Tail and MrT the time the died, one example is the Battle of Alamo or the Battle of Thermopyle were a handful of soldiers fought an uneven battle against a superior enemy knowing in advance that they will die.
