Jan/2018. *This image is copyright of its original author CT the new king of Sillari, Pench MH. Jan/2018 *This image is copyright of its original author CT, I always thought Mukhtar would be the one to steal Samraat/Prince and Khursapar/Handsome male's crown but i was wrong. Mukhtar was no match for Samraat and Khursapar male, eventually he faded away into an unknown area never to be seen again. CT, however was a determined male that put up constant fights with Samraat to finally end his decade long reign of terror. CT is now the new breed, right in his prime and a powerful male. he earned his title. this is going to be the era of CT. unlike most male tigers of Pench, MH that are elusive and hardly make public appearances. CT seems to be quite confident in his approach and as its often the case with some of the most intelligent tigers, CT is by no means a shy tiger. the amount of times he has been sighted after taking over is quite remarkable. Jan/2018. *This image is copyright of its original author PannaLal the king of Bandhavgarh. another interesting new face of Bandhavgarh, originally a Panna tiger that travelled through human settlements to safely reach Bandhavgarh, forced out the local males from Khitauli to start his new life as the king of Khitauli. RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - paul cooper - 02-06-2018 @Roflcopters Wild golden tiger? Is that.. RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Roflcopters - 02-06-2018 Yes sir. she was sighted last year again by the field director of Kanha National Park. *This image is copyright of its original author here is Sanjay Shukla's post from January/2017. Royal Bengal Tiger (Panthera tigris) I was lucky enough to see a tiger also in Kaziranga. I was in the Agoratoli (Eastern ) Range and the sun has gone down the horizon. I just wanted to see some of the Anti Poaching Camps. The determined and committed frontline staff in these camps has fought hard with the poachers to make this a safe place for rhinoceros now. The forester driving the vehicle was narrating me many stories of ambush with the poachers. Suddenly we saw one tiger moving ahead of us on the road. The light was pretty bad and distance was much. This was the best image which I could get before the tiger suddnly disappeared in the bushes. This was clicked at 20,000 ISO and 500 mm (equivalent to 750 mm). another photo of this girl *This image is copyright of its original author
RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Pckts - 02-06-2018 The kaziranga male looks absolutely massive! RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - SuSpicious - 02-06-2018 1. Who is that Kaziranga tiger. Can anyone identify him. Somebody needs to weigh one of these guys. He is a bulldozer in disguise. One of most impressive shoulders I have ever seen. 2. Can anyone please give any information on the lineage of CT from Pench. 3. Pannalal is one of the most beautiful looking tigers in terms of facial markings in recent timings. RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Roflcopters - 02-06-2018 *This image is copyright of its original author Its KZT085, see the stripe pattern in this picture. Its a 100% match and sadly CT's ancestry is still unknown. Feb/2017. *This image is copyright of its original author according to the guy that photographed him, he was the tallest and the biggest male he had ever seen in his life. Well KZT085 is ruling kohara for 7 years and is the supposed assasin of the huge KZT023. No wonder he is an exceptional giant. RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Tshokwane - 02-28-2018 Credits to Mritunjay Kumar Tiwary. Face Off!! The #tiger is the apex #predator in #wildindia but the #indian #slothbear is no mug when it comes to defending itself. This #bear, despite being grieviously injured, managed to chase away and escape the clutches of this #bigcat as can be seen from the two pictures. Growling vociferously and fighting aggressively, the sloth bear proved that adversity can be fought off by determination, tenacity and aggression. Patience in midday sweltering heat helped me witness and capture this #animalbehavior — Tadoba National Park. *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author

The bear escaped but I think he really pushed back the tiger..3 times in fact..despite the tiger having inserted his canine on the neck. Matkasur is no slouch, that is a very impressive feat for a sloth bear to fight off a mature dominate Tiger. It seems like the bear has some pretty nasty gashes but should heal up fine unless Matkasur comes back to finish job, you never know with Cats, sometimes they like to wait and assess the damage.
