RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Mdz123 - 02-06-2023 (02-05-2023, 11:53 PM)criollo2mil Wrote:(02-05-2023, 07:38 PM)Mdz123 Wrote: Red Road male was fathered by the 7 old Avoca/Giraffe males. He is dominating alone since there is no large coalition close to him. His neighbors are all lone males apart from Tintswalos. As @SMK350 and @Tr1x24 pointed out, the main issue with this is who actually sired the cubs. There are several cases of male lions accepting cubs that arent theirs, so this might be case. However, eithout actual DNA tests, we will never know who was the father of RRM, we just know that Skorro Thanda Impi spent time with him. At least I can rule out the Avoca/Giraffe as potential fathers, as you mentionned the Birminghams were running away from them. That leaves only the N. Matimbas and Skorro Thanda Impi. But as I said we will probably never know without DNA tests. RE: Lions of Manyeleti - veritas - 02-06-2023 I've been looking around a lot recently for photos of redroad male and thandaimpi skorro between 2014 and 2015. I found a picture of Skorro's cups in 2014 on Facebook! It's a different photo from the one posted by Ruiting Zhong. I'm a fan of Sizanani and Skorro so I was curious about the lives of their offspring and was mistaken when I saw the Red Road photo. I thought it was Skorro. It looked so similar that I saved it in each folder in my smartphone. In particular, Skorro's unique gaze, a little elongated, and his jaw slightly forward when he opens his mouth, really resembles it. Rather than a close-up front photo, they are a father and son without a doubt if you look at the moving (walking) video or the slightly opened mouth. It's so fun and interesting! They say she visited the Scorro pride but that doesn’t quiet make sense to me. *This image is copyright of its original author Rockfig. I feel like people dismiss him too quickly it was rumored he and his partner pressured Smudge to leave the area (some say Scorro, some say him). He was with the pride on many occasions and I am kicking myself for not saving a video I once saw of him. *This image is copyright of its original author

I can’t quite remember the details I have to ask my Timbavati smart guys. Hehe. But I vaguely remember that maybe there was suspicions the Skorro pride might be a breakaway of Birmingham or the Orpen pride. Again. My mind is muddy q details RE: Lions of Manyeleti - SMK350 - 02-08-2023 I’ve actually never seen any proof that the Scorro pride broke away from the super Orpen pride. They just sort of appeared. Still a fascinating sighting because the Matimba male is tolerating her. I wanted to add this as well: I think Whiteface Giraffe male is mating with the Bboy’s sister, aka current Nharu female (must be before she went nomadic with her brothers). *This image is copyright of its original author

RE: Lions of Manyeleti - afortich - 02-10-2023 RE: Lions of Manyeleti - criollo2mil - 02-10-2023 Lambile…1/3 Tintswalo looking well. He was in the company of a few lionesses and cubs of the Mbiri Pride Credit: vestment RE: Lions of Manyeleti - BigLion39 - 02-11-2023 Glad he is doing well. Putting some mass on and keeping it. Could it be the worst is behind him? Maybe he beat that disease that his bros couldn't? RE: Lions of Manyeleti - Tr1x24 - 02-11-2023 (02-11-2023, 12:10 PM)BigLion39 Wrote: Glad he is doing well. Doubt, his condition improved since Ncila's snare injury, as he rank up in order, which meant more and easier access to food. Also, even if they have same disease, it might not affect all the same way. The Tumbella forum is mainly about skkoro jr and otawa. But the rest of Mandevu, Lambile, and Nclie stories don't seem to have their own forum. I'm looking for forums here and there, but can't I make them separately? Even things related to Red Road are always different. I don't know exactly which forum it's only available. |
