Damn, that's a warrior face!!! I love their savagery. Nice pic. RE: Lions from Botswana - BA0701 - 07-26-2022 Strange, though not entirely unheard of, behavior by young lions who consume their sibling who had been hit be a truck and killed. RE: Lions from Botswana - Mapokser - 08-05-2022 I have two questions, how old is Sekekama and for how many years did he rule? RE: Lions from Botswana - afortich - 08-12-2022 Cubs making bonds stronger!! It still remains unknown when Sekekama was born. But many people estimate him to be born between 2005/6/7. As far I know, Sekekama and his brothers took-over their first territory between 2010/11. Here a sighting of Sekekama taken in December 2011. Photo credit: Steve's Safari Life He had a good-looking blond-maned back in the day ![]() *This image is copyright of its original author
RE: Lions from Botswana - BigLion39 - 08-12-2022 Sekekama and Torn Nose were part of a 5 male coalition way back before they were famous called the 5 Selinda males. They split into 3 and 2 coalitions and the rest is history. Theres a guy on FB that follows and has a page of them and it is excellent and he is always updating. His name i believe is Hasan Mohammad and his page is just Sekekama or something to that extent. RE: Lions from Botswana - Mapokser - 08-13-2022 So he took over a pride in 2010, but when did he became a nomad? If I'm not mistaken Torn Nose and him are currently nomads right? RE: Lions from Botswana - afortich - 08-27-2022 Good looking boy! RE: Lions from Botswana - T I N O - 08-27-2022 (08-27-2022, 01:04 AM)afortich Wrote: Good looking boy! What a massive cat!
