RE: The Birmingham Males - Xiku_kutsu - 06-15-2021

Hi, my first post :) 1/2 Birmingham/Gowrie males, Nhenha, was seen contact calling and scent marking on an area full of impalas. The lioness with the 5 cubs was also on the area, as well as Tinyo, who was later seen with Nhenha at Mala Mala Game Reserve, June 13.

Male lions aren’t directly involved in caring for their cubs. However, their roll as protectors is perhaps even more important. If they fail, the lionesses won’t have cubs to care for.

The Gowrie males reign has allowed the Kambula pride to successfully raise their first ‘round’ of cubs. Will they stay in power long enough to see the new litters through the first stages of their lives?

The two Birmingham males in the Mala Mala Game Reserve, Tinyo greets his brother Nhenha, it seems they are now closer than ever after Tinyo's alleged fight with the two Northern Avocas. Even these legendary brothers can still fight for their territory!

I hope Tinyo gets better so we can have some more good times with him. Back hip looks bad.
