No mention of it in the photographer's comments. Seems they have moved back south again, which is good, but I can't think the SP lioness is ready again. RE: Gijima coalition - Mapokser - 09-25-2023 Probably a Talamati. RE: Gijima coalition - BA0701 - 09-25-2023 (09-25-2023, 10:41 PM)Mapokser Wrote: Probably a Talamati. Down in Sabi Sabi? I didn't know they had moved that far south. I knew they had gone into Londolozi, that is where the Gijimas mated with them the first time, if I am not mistaken. What I think is at issue is that Sabi Sabi is not as far south as I was picturing in my mind. I looked over the map again, to regain my bearings, and I can see it now. Seems it has two distinct sections. RE: Gijima coalition - Mapokser - 09-26-2023 On FB they claimed it's a Styx subadult... Could this be? RE: Gijima coalition - Mwk85 - 10-11-2023 Both were seen mating with two of the Talamati lionesses. RE: Gijima coalition - Mapokser - 10-11-2023 Older Gijima has a beautiful black mane. And it may be that Talamatis are really settling down with Gijimas as their dominant males, it's been a while since they arrived in the south.
