There seems to be lots of pictures of the nwaswishaka males recently. Are they staying in the same area now?

Yea, they are mostly in Sabi Sabi now and Lion Sands, they didnt go in Kruger for quite some time now, it seems that they settled here, roaring all the time..

" We watched as the four N’waswishaka male lions moved slowly through the night and located them again this morning as the morning sun illuminated them beautifully. "

RE: N'waswitshaka males - Spalea - 08-26-2020

" The N’waswishaka male lions were doing what lion do best, sleeping. What an experience dinner and sleep was as the boys vocalised around Bush Lodge throughout the night. "

Orange Eyes might be the smallest, but he definitely is a tough guy, he is always front runner at mating rights..

It seems that days of Styx male and NK male with the pride is over..

What a surprise to see a N'waswishaka male lion mating with one of the Styx females this morning! "

Great news for the Styx Pride. Shame that the young males will have to leave soon though.

I think you guys agree that he is one of the most beautiful lions around..he will have a massive and impressive mane in his prime..

We dont know for certain, but based on previous sightings of him (in 2018 as young hairless male) , i think he is only 4.5 yrs old, born around beggining of 2016..

Wide Nosed male is prob the same age, with 2 younger males a few months younger...

A couple of posters on the Timbavati thread mentioned their vote for the most handsome lion....  Well, I just think the leader of the N'was coalition gets my vote for one of the most handsome male lions currently.  He's so nice looking and mostly unblemished, with few scars on his face.  Of course, that will probably change as he gets more experience and ages....
