RE: Avoca male lions - BA0701 - 11-12-2022 Mohawk has moved his buffalo kill under a tree, an incredible feat of strength, which seems that between the kill itself and the moving, he wants nothing more than to rest now, for quite some time. There is also a cute shot of some unknown cubs playing. RE: Avoca male lions - sik94 - 11-12-2022 Three male lions have apparently escaped the fence near Saringwa farms, Elephant Points Road. These 3 look awfully alot like DM + 2 Talamatis, and seeing those pictures of DM walking along the fence makes me believe it's definitely them. Hopefully it ends well, paws crossed. *This image is copyright of its original author

I tried to Google all the roads mentioned on the post and they don’t seem to be in Sabi sands area. I think it’s in southern Kruger. Adjacent to Skukuza RE: Avoca male lions - DARK MANE - 11-12-2022 RE: Avoca male lions - sik94 - 11-12-2022 About 10km southwest of Savanna Lodge. *This image is copyright of its original author
RE: Avoca male lions - BorntobeWild - 11-12-2022 Has this been reported? RE: Avoca male lions - sik94 - 11-12-2022 Northen Avocas Safari live. Sabi Sands Northern There they are Mohawk, Dark Mane. Glad to know they didn't escape, and to see DM and Mohawk together! *This image is copyright of its original author

Just shows how much we simply don’t know. It never ceases to amaze, in one of the earlier videos yesterday, right after Mohawk killed that buffalo, they were saying it was a 500-600KG buffalo, and less than 24 hours later it is nearly entirely gone. This is DM joining Mohawk and Nkuhuma sub group on a kill, DM still didnt reunite with Talamatis since they went west. But good to see that Mohawk "allow" DM to feed, he definitely need this. DM was actually growling at Mohawk at one point, he showed up unannounced at the dinner table and had some attitude. Great to see! RE: Avoca male lions - WildLeonis - 11-12-2022 This is truly amazing to see DM show up for dinner with Mohawk and Nkuhuma subs and a fight didn’t ensue. Perhaps it was because there was not much buffalo left? Whatever the reason it was great to see. Out of the N.Avocas DM has always been the most interesting to me with his actions and movements. Anyway, I wonder how this reunion with Mohawk will play out? Or if this is just a one and done. I guess we’ll find out in a few days. |
