Menacing look

This male didn't like my presence and gave me this look before leaving.

Curiosity killed the cat

The lioness on the road was quick to hide in the tall grass, leaving her three cubs behind. We stopped the vehicle and with the cubs not being as nervous as their mum, we got quite a few photographs. Until this moment. The little female on the left stood up and decided to have a closer look at us. With their sister being so brave, the other little female and the male were quick to join her, cautiously walking to our vehicle, until they were literally sniffing our headlights, always keeping an eye on us. This is one of the few moments I dropped my camera in the presence of lions. I was in complete awe of what was going on.
We saw these lions on a seldom used road and I reckon we must have been the first vehicle these cubs had seen, hence their curiosity.

Think this belongs here: size comparison of a male leopard and a (young?) adult lioness in Benin, West Africa.
