RE: The mighty Mapogos - Pckts - 03-03-2016 I think after much back and forth I have decided that the Mapogos are my favorite coalition. The bond between Mr. T and Kinky Tail was beautiful, Mr. T may have been the reason the mopogos split but he is also the reason I love them so. He refused to change, he was never meant to follow, only lead. Kinky tail *This image is copyright of its original author Mak is looking fly... *This image is copyright of its original author

RE: The mighty Mapogos - Tshokwane - 03-17-2016 Today is the 4th aniversary of the last battle of Mr.T. I have to say that I have a big dislike for all the whiny little girls that cry and moan about the Selatis killing him, as if he didn't do the same to who knows how many others, or as if that didn't happen to the very same Selati males, or as if that won't happen to the rest of the coalitions. So, as he probably would have wanted to, I celebrate this day, remembering his bravery and the spirit he showed, like a true lion. *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author
RE: The mighty Mapogos - brotherbear - 03-17-2016 How does that ages-old saying go? ... "Live by the sword; Die by the sword." It appears that Mr.T lived a full lion's life to the hilt. RE: The mighty Mapogos - Tshokwane - 03-17-2016 Quote:How does that ages-old saying go? ... "Live by the sword; Die by the sword." It appears that Mr.T lived a full lion's life to the hilt.Indeed he did. And here goes a little bit of insight of why the other two Mapogos, the Old Man Makhulu and Pretty Boy didn't participate in that last fight. Credits to Khimbini Hlongwane: Have you ever wondered why the Makhulu and Pretty boy didn't stand to fight the Selati males on the morning of 16 march 2012? This video might provide some light regard. The remaining trio of Mapogos and The 4 selati males had couple more fight before the last day of Mr T. These fights left the elderly Makhulu weak and Pretty boy badly injured. RE: The mighty Mapogos - Pckts - 03-30-2016 *This image is copyright of its original author

Sunday, October 10, 2010 Yesterday we were treated to the ultimate display of raw power in Africa, 2 male lions in an intense battle over a female! This all unfolded in front of the camp after the males had been seriously tracking a buffalo herd. A female lion turned up and suddenly the buffalo were gone and all attention was focused on the female in oestrus! Brothers hunting together quickly turned into brothers fighting over the female. Everything happened so fast as these things tend to do but I managed to get a high enough shutter speed to freeze the action. None of the males were clearly dominant and the fight ended abruptly with both licking their wounds. Posted by Dave Pusey Mapogo Fury! On June of 2009, 3 young, prime and big Toulon Males entered Mala Mala and attempted a take over on Mapogo territory. When the brave Toulons went into Mapogo territory they had no intention to leave without knocking the door first. The Mlowathi Males went into hunting mode. Described as an intense fight that went on for days, perhaps the Toulons refused to lose until finally the tenacity of the Mlowathi Males prevailed. Result and aftermath Mlowathi Males - Succeeded in defending their land despite being outnumbered as was their signature trait. Toulon Males - Were pushed out of most of Mala Mala and Mapogo territory for good but showed they had the tools to challenge for a pride. 2 Months later they took over the Southern pride. by Jairo Reyes (Legendary Kings) *This image is copyright of its original author
