The actual quotes say Tiger, I think the "Tigress" is part of the write up and a mistake from the writer. "The tiger was in the grass close to the watchtower, and tourists, including my groups, had congregated in the tower to wait and watch. As the tiger began walking back towards the road there was a crazy rush back down to the track - some groups got into their jeeps and drove up to the tiger, others ran along the track from the tower." RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - sanjay - 06-20-2014 Awesome Moment Capture by Photographer Jai Mohan A close encounter of Big Crocodile and Male Tiger (not sure about the gender of tiger, I am guessing). According to Jai Mohan Quote:The tiger was deep in sleep on the shady bank of the Tadoba Lake when a very large croc surfaced very near to him. For about five minutes it kept hovering around the tiger but couldn't muster courage to attack the tiger and backed off finally *This image is copyright of its original author Wish we could have seen more action. Tigers also wake up ready to fight imediately, so even when sleeping doesn't mean they are vulnerable. A great example is the machli documentory where one of machlis daughters (2nd largest) attacks the sleeping (largest) tigress and she is ready to fight before the other sister can even sink a bite down. And would have moved off knowing its alive and sleeping.
