RE: The Matimba coalition - Mapokser - 09-19-2023 Cool report by Darren Donovan from Manyeleti back in the day, his guest went there just to see the Matimbas, and having seen all the famous lions of the Greater KNP, he thought Matimbas were the biggest! *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author It must have been amazing to see such beautiful and magnificent lions right in front of you. RE: The Matimba coalition - Hairy tummy - 09-19-2023 Excellent...who is around now a days that compare to the matimba's? Zig zag mbiri or the leeubron perhaps RE: The Matimba coalition - Mapokser - 09-19-2023 Not sure about currently but prime Leeubrons were up there. RE: The Matimba coalition - Potato - 09-29-2023 White Face RE: The Matimba coalition - BigLion39 - 10-02-2023 ZigZag reminds me of him, atleast in this video. RE: The Matimba coalition - Mapokser - 10-06-2023 The Hairy Belly Matimba male: *This image is copyright of its original author Browsing through facebook today I saw comments claiming that the Nkuhuma Breakaway subadult male sired by the PCM has a hairy belly too: *This image is copyright of its original author Honestly I can't see it, and I haven't found the suppose footage showing it "clearly" as people were claiming, but regardless, this guy is a Matimba grandson, and people think his mother resembles HB, I also remember thinking he looked similar to HB when he was younger: *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author But regardless, it'll be interesting to see how he'll look when he grows up, and if he develops a hairy belly like some are claiming, it'll be pretty cool to see it, since the only Matimba descendent to have it was the Torchwood male, though it seemingly vanished once he got older. RE: The Matimba coalition - Mapokser - 10-20-2023 One of the 3 massive Old Skybed males, the father of the Matimbas, he resembles Slitnose a lot: *This image is copyright of its original author
RE: The Matimba coalition - Horizon - 11-18-2023 " target="_blank" class="post_link"> Throwback Hairy Belly Matimba welcoming the tourists on his own way at @londolozi in 2017 Sabi Sands RE: The Matimba coalition - Mapokser - 04-23-2024 No way this is Ginger, right? So which Northern Matimba is this one? Shaka? Though it has a cut on his nose, so maybe Slitnose? *This image is copyright of its original author Dec 08 2012 at Djuma. I didn't know the Northern Matimbas would still go so south at Sabi Sands as late as Dec 2012, meeting with the Nkuhuma pride. No wonder the Majingilane chose to expand west against the Selatis instead of north against Matimbas in late 2012.
