These two are actually the most impressive coalition is Sabi Sands atm, not because of their size as they're definitely not the biggest, but in behaviour shown. They've had atleast one interaction with Mantimhale males after they lost an Nkuhuma female to them, but it was clear they atleast put up a fight, as seen with Mantimhale injuries, and clearly aren't scared to get into further altercations with them as seen with them roaring above. I've always thought Mantimhales were the coalition who injured K5 and likely chased his brothers, but it seems most ppl now believe it was the veterans themselves, and ye I know it's the Kambulas, but still an impressive feat nonetheless. I doubt they will accept anymore members, but it would be great if they spread their genes one final time, unforttunately even if they can take a pride it'll be a huge ask for them to be around long enough to protect their pride until the youngsters are ready to leave.

They beat up both K5/K6 im not sure 100% but that's what i think

So, did Sabi Sands release a statement saying they shot dead 2 poachers? Can someome verify this?

If true, amazing job done by them, but it's alarming how poachers were "working" in a reserve such as Sabi Sands at this day and age.

Unfortunately there will always be poachers trying to “score one” this is the exact reason why if any lion disappears I always have that feeling that one of these terrible humans got to said lion but thankfully sabi sands has one of the greatest anti poaching units in South Africa I wish all reserves had one

I haven’t heard of this happening yet, but I’ll take ur word for it, and these things will happen every now and again, it’s simply impossible to stop once and for all. All it takes is one dodgy search or one lazy security guard for these things to happen and like I said that’s not preventable. 

I think this sends a good message tho, and I know ppl may say that’s not the right thing to say about the death of another human being, quite frankly I could not care less in the nicest terms, they had the same intentions towards animals. Every single poacher who hears of this incident will now think twice about doing this in Sabi Sands, great work by the anti poaching team.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Khanya and NK gave him the beating baring in mind they been in Singita for a few days, bigger PCM was seen today after being missing for a while so that kinda rules them out, assuming his brother didn’t go find him and then they beat their son together obviously.

The fact that they found poachers in the west has me very concerned about many of the lions we haven't seen recently.  I am glad they were dealt with, and let's hope it was quick!!

Wonder if it was Kruger male lion was Southern Avoca male lion involve. He seems calm when Kruger male lion roars. 

Interesting Kruger male lion, Kambula and mantimhale know each other from Imbali lionesses? Would t they have cubs ?
