I wonder if the Kambula males were chased by S.Avoca + KM, them going all the way to Kirkman’s Kamp is quite a trek. They went first to Umkumbe, then MalaMala, then back South. We know they have extremely weird movements and like to follow the buffalo, but maybe it’s not a coincidence.

Dont think so, 2-3 of them where moving of south, then returning back north for months, this is nothing new.

Only pot K6 got chased out by KM and S.Avoca, as he stayed behind alone and got in a scrap.

Look at review here

Indeed, their routes sometimes appear chaotic, but this may be due to the search for prey or avoidance of other coalitions. Perhaps they are simply trying to maintain control over different territories.

The Mantimahle males are with the Amber eyes Nk female, i think the same that was with Kruger male(?)
The ginger maned Mantimahle sustains some injuries and a limp on his back leg, but is trying his luck pairing with the lioness

I was leaning more to the side K6 was beat up by Mantimahles as KM + S.Avoca weren’t fully back on the scene. Anyways speaking about the Mantimhales, they must’ve had an alteration with KM + S.Avoca throughout the night. Blonde Mantimahle was videos limping and Deon said he got a beating from someone - seen with Amber Eyes daughter who I think is Little Amber, same lioness with KM yesterday.

Just seen a comment about the BDM, had forgotten about him for some time, I’m guessing he went into KNP as he was last seen at Nkorho over a month ago I think. Glad to know these these veterans are fine too.

Seems odd, the Mantimahle male appears the one who took the beating, yet he is the one with the female, while Kruger Male and S Avoca appear to be fine, as long as that video is taken after the dust up. Kruger Male seems to most dominant of those two boys, at the moment, he has been bodying S Avoca for awhile now. Once his condition and confidence has been restored, I'd expect S Avoca to start getting his fair share, and from this video of them fighting over that kill, he may well be on his way to that. If they can become dominant again, this might be the come back story of 2024. One thing is for certain, there is still plenty of life, and plenty of fight in these two old males, they're not going anywhere!

A friend of mine asked a guide who replied that S.Avoca and Kruger were the ones to beat up not only the blond Mantimahle, but K6 as well. I can't confirm it for sure but it seems like what indeed happened.

Currently if I get it right, both Mantimahle and Kruger/Avoca are mating/interacting with members of the NK pride.

Let's not forget that a while ago S.Avoca/Kruger chased 1/2 PCM from the north.

Could you imagine it, these 2 old guys, out of nowhere, winning the competition in the North? It'd be crazy but if they are confident enough to launch an attack on the Mantimhle right now, they could probably oust their enemies because blond Mantimahle is limping quite a bit, both his hindlimbs were badly beaten.

Kruger male is extremely confident and is very powerful, S.Avoca was never a pushover either, it shows us that when the individual lion is strong and confident, they don't need a long life bond to compete.

Again, we're talking about 12ish old lions, nomads that were together for only a few months, imagine if they were in their prime?

Duos like NK and Talamati, with some luck, could definitely challenge for territory if individually they had it in them.

WOW.. that is... WOW.  So Kruger is 12ish as well?  S. Avoca looks phenomenal compared to what he was this time last year.  Like night and day.
