RE: Amur Leopard (Panthera pardus orientalis) - Nyers - 03-26-2021 credits to ФГБУ "Земля леопарда" имени Николая Воронцова Four rarest leopards in one video! And they have a high ground. Unique footage of a large family of Amur leopards. Via camera trap we can see mother and three cubs on top of the mountain. They met an unidentified mystery beast. The mother notices the movement of an unknown object, which remains off-screen, nearby. Attracted by some other animal, the female leaves the cubs "under the supervision" of a camera trap and sets off for reconnaissance. Kittens carefully observe from a safe distance the interaction of the mother with the intruder. The little ones do not look scared - they do not take their eyes off what is happening and try to grasp every detail. It is possible that this leopard found potential prey and went hunting to get food for the family and demonstrate the skills of an experienced predator to the kids. Although the object remains a mystery, scientists have learned that everything is fine with the family: they were recently seen by camera traps elsewhere in the Land of the Leopard National Park. https://leopard-land.ru/about/news/743 RE: Amur Leopard (Panthera pardus orientalis) - Luipaard - 06-01-2021 Large male from Land of the Leopard National Park, Russia *This image is copyright of its original author amurleo_land RE: Amur Leopard (Panthera pardus orientalis) - Dark Jaguar - 06-28-2021 credits: WCS *This image is copyright of its original author

RE: Amur Leopard (Panthera pardus orientalis) - Twico5 - 01-25-2022 “Simba can be called a responsible owner of his territory. There are six trail cameras installed in its borders, and the first images of the five-year-old male were taken in 2013 in the central part of the Leopard Land National Park. Today, the national park’s archives have 137 shots of the now adult animal. Many photos feature Simba with his tail raised high, which definitely shows that he is in a decent mood.“ Some photos of Simba from The Far Eastern Leopard Programme website. https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/784466849328660541/935574960825581620/IMG_9376.png https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/784466849328660541/935574961618296852/IMG_9375.png RE: Amur Leopard (Panthera pardus orientalis) - Twico5 - 02-27-2022 Beautiful young leopard in Primorsky Krai . RE: Amur Leopard (Panthera pardus orientalis) - Twico5 - 03-19-2022 Leopard #2, a male Amur leopard who was recorded in China in 2015. A paper from then showed that there were at least 21 individuals living in NE China, which is about a quarter of the amount of leopards in the Russian Far East. In total there would’ve been around ~120 individuals at the time. Not sure about right now though as I haven’t seen any recent papers on Chinese amurs. Currently there are ~100 recorded alive individuals in land of the leopard national park in Russia. *This image is copyright of its original author
