RE: Indian Leopard (Panthera Pardus Fusca) - Ravisingh - 09-08-2016 black leopard population increasing in bandipur and nagarhole santuaries... http://www.bfirst.in/article/life-leisure/7326/one-population-explosion-we-won%E2%80%99t-mind RE: Indian Leopard (Panthera Pardus Fusca) - Pckts - 09-08-2016 I always see images from kabini of black leopards. S. India has a nice melanistic gene flowing through it right now. RE: Indian Leopard (Panthera Pardus Fusca) - Ravisingh - 09-08-2016 most interesting behaviour is of leopards of jawai in rajasthan.they ahave been spotted many times living in a group of 15-20 leopards(just like lion pride) resting near temple and very near to people and priest of temple . this may be due to absence of lions and tigers or plenty of prey. last recorded attack on any human in this area was almost 150 years back. there is a documentary named 'jawai:india's leopard hills'. i could not find it on youtube but it shown videos of leopard living in groups.
