Hairy Belly Torchwood is big male just like his father, you can see how much bigger head he has compared to those lionesses..

Are the Matshpiri sons still with him? The Matshpiri males were some impressive lions, S. Avocas would have probably never become dominant in Sabi Sands was it not for the untimely leg-break and eventual demise of the Mohawk Matshpiri.

Which Matimba son is this?

It was from a Facebook post.  The poster ID'd him as a Talamati offspring and posts quite often about lions.  I do not know how many offspring the Matimbas sired specifically in their early years together, nor do I know where all the sons dispersed to exactly.  There were a lot of them though.  I'm not sold on the Talamati offspring bit 100% (he might be though and only because I did not follow the Matimbas then), and some might think he's HB, but when you look at the eyes closely and the muzzle shape/length with other subtle differences, they vary a bit and he's not an exact clone or copy of HB.  In fact, his eye color is pale tawny and HB's are amber or orange (at the lightest).

Seems that no rangers kept up with all the Matimba siblings or offspring.  There could be ones we do not know about, more than we realize I'm sure. There are even age questions about all the coalition members.  Agreement is lacking.

There are differences though in muzzle shape, eye color, and other subtle traits.  The Matimbas are a fascinating bunch.
