Same with Deer and Horses as well believe it or not.

Yes true... Domestic animals kill many more people each year than the wild ones (no mention of insects, invertebrates and so on).

Don't forget moose. In the rut season, they will kill anything they see or at least try to.

Most people who've had experience in the Alaskan/Canadian wilderness state that moose (especially in rut season) are the most dangerous mammals in North America, hands down. There are even accounts of crazy moose killing brown bears in anger.

Bill gates is not only one God, i'm talking about general western media PROPAGANDA ... for them Animals means only Africa and their home.

These are my few google results with keywords 'animals danger to humans'  or dangerous animals

http://list25.com/the-25-most-dangerous-...e-world/5/

See no mention of 600+ and 30+ human killers Asian elephants and Tigers but stupid media glorifies cape buffalo, hippos, sharks  and many times African elephants (hardly kills 100) as dangerous killers. Angry

The four sites you mentioned were posted by ( 1 ) David Pegg. ( 2 ) Daniel Jameson. ( 3 ) Conservation Institute ( no name given ). ( 4 ) David Lawler.
If you are this interested, then research the answers yourself. How many people are killed annually on average by tigers? Compare this with the other animals. Doing this will take some time, weeks or months. Personally,  I have serious doubts that there is any conspiracy against India on the subject of dangerous animals.

Well African animals are glorified, but tis not any propaganda against India but tis all about TRP.

Nat-geo & Discovery glorify lions to garner higher TRP from the audience back home US (& may be Europe). This is bcoz lion is glorified in Bible & the catholic audience (back home) would love to see a lion win. This should explain the Animal face-off episode where lion was declared the victor in a fight against tiger & why everything about lion-land (Africa) is holier.

Dave Salmoni was the tiger expert in that episode, I'm not aware of any tiger research by Salmoni in India & he is considered an expert on Bengal Tiger. May be he became an expert reading books by Clyde Beaty.   Lol

Lions are easier to film; more accessible. It has nothing to do with politics or religion.

What conspiracy??

It is nothing but rouge idiotic stupid western media propaganda based on their western viewers interests nothing else. I saw many documentaries on African lions, buffalo etc they are more like BIG-BOSS show than real nature of wild animals.

Key words used on many lion documentaries King of the jungle,Massacre,Bloodbath,Cruel,Blood thirsty ,Rein and what not!

btw which African nation releases human causalities every year?? but western media MIRACULOUSLY collects data from their back and projected as WHOLE AFRICAN human casualities and ignores authentic govt of India's data. Angry  Anyone with little bit of knowledge on wild animals knew Asian elephants and Tigers frequently kills people (400+ and 20+ deaths every year based on Govt of India data).

Well, I think it's more or less a tossup between Africa and Asia. There are lots of big cats, canines, big herbivores, crocodilians, etc.

And if it hasn't been pointed out already, @Pckts, Komodos do not use bacteria to kill. They have venom which widens blood vessels and increases bleeding (I think). Heck they'd probably be just fine without it! They have a mouthful of serrated teeth like sharks and a great mechanical advantage

No it’s because lions are interesting and Unique to big cats . But tigers here in America are just as popular as lions . Also David salmoni worked with tigers and lions hence why he’s an expert. But I don’t think lions are CLEARLY favored over tigers in America it may be like that in Europe but I don’t know for sure ,but the tiger is more respected than the lion in Asia especially India but lions are respected too if there were more lions in India then they would be a lot more popular in India/Asia.

Lions and tigers are equally popular in india. We worship lions too. We have lion deity, tiger deity, lions and tigers as pet of gods etc. So both are equally venerated and both have been here for 1000s of years.lions came here atleast 5000 years back, and is not a recent immigrant. When Sri Lanka had lions, lik s clearly were present in india long before human civilization too.

I think both bare equally popular I think nat geo or animal planet had a survey on YouTube of which big cat was their favorite and there was 170k votes and both tiger and lion had 50k votes and then the jaguar came in 3rd with 20k votes .
