There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

@BorneanTiger

My father told me the Middle East is a lot more than sand, oil and all the rest of it a long time ago. Apart from that, I know people born and bred in the Middle East. They told me about the hidden treasures in that part of the world.

The photographs remind me about the (arteficial) lake I often visit to canoe in the southeastern part of Amsterdam (Gaasperplas). We don't have flamingos, but the vegetation seems to be quite similar. The last picture could have been taken from that lake.

This one? No, that's definitely the area of "Al Qurm" (The Mangrove) in Abu Dhabi, if you look at the skyscrapers in the background. Quite naturally, people are attracted to this unusual, green area that offers a world away from the hustle and bustle of a city like that of Abu Dhabi:

Not exactly urban, but human dominated landscape. These bears move from plantation to plantation.

Just as Mumbai (the largest city and financial capital of India) has leopards in its area, and Nairobi (the largest city and administrative capital of Kenya) has lions and leopards in its area, Los Angeles (California's largest city) has cougars in its area: https://wildfact.com/forum/topic-the-pum...#pid122201

I don't think that anyone provided an image of this particular leopard, since the search was said to be underway.

corbettexpert-This is what we call an urban Tiger! Not all pictures should be taken in a negative aspect!

Corbett has got a healthy population of Tigers and some rare times like all other National parks Tigers rarely come near to human populations.

By god's grace Corbett has one of the lowest Man-Animal conflict ratios in the country.

A fantastic frame by mukeshyadav Sir
