There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Absolutely disgusting, hard to watch honestly. How it is legal is honestly beyond me. It takes a lot to get me angry but this really got me riled up.

This is disgusting, although I can see the reason why they do this, and that reason is money. These people want to not end up dead or starving, and have decided to kill the seals for their fur for profit. Need for survival is a basic instinct in every animal, including us.

But it still an inexcusable behavior to disown your moral sense for money, especially harming other lives in the process. There are always other ways.

Well, there is a market for seal meat in Canada, Denmark (Greenland), Iceland etc. & that's not gonna change anytime soon...
To my knowledge farming of seals for slaughter is not permitted.

Wild seals & thus the marine ecosystems are paying the price.
