Crater Cheetah

We spent the morning following this cheetah in the Ngorongoro Crater. It was calving season and it was obvious she was in hunting mode. Still one of my best moments when she stopped on the vast open plain to scan with the Crater rim as the backdrop. A photographers dream..!

Yes; I noticed the leopard spots after posting it and taking a close look. Being so skinny-looking, I mistook him for a cheetah.

About post #27... wouldn't a wart hog be a dangerous prey and a difficult kill for a cheetah?

RE: Cheetah (Info, Videos, Pics) - Ngala - 11-25-2016

I don't think that it's more dangerous for example than leopards, many times cheetahs hunt in pairs and they take down it better, while the leopards are more solitary for hunting.
