And since Ximhungwe lost her sub female towards late 2021, until now, it was few times speculated she had cubs and not once any sign of cubs.

It’s not a healthy situation for the pride.   Ximunghwe isn’t a young lioness and I can’t fathom she has many more attempts at raising litters left.   The best way for this to resolve itself is for the Nkuhuma male and Skorro to finally leave the west.    But it doesn’t seem likely in the near term.

This is not how it works, male who just hangs with the pride, without controling territory is not a territorial/dominant male.

DM hanged with Talamatis, Tumbela hangs with both Othawas and Ximhungwes, NK with Ximhungwes, but neither of those males where/are territorial.

To be a dominant/territorial male you need to have territory, not a pride, because without territory, you and your pride are in someones elses males territory.

And to have a territory, you need to roar, scent mark, face and chase intruders to keep them away, which Mohawk is not doing.
I dont really see the contradiction here. Males take territory depending on the opportunities to gain lionesses . If there is no lionesses there he will abandon the territory. 
Alternatively, even if he loses territory.  As long he can still hang out with his lionesses, he isn't going to move out just because he lost the land out of courtesy. 

As long Mohawk is dominant over the pride. He still has that, regardless of how much land he owns.

If even Zoos are not willing to 100% guarantee whether or not the big cats in their care are pregnant without blood testing. its safe to say that even the guides have no accurate way of seeing whether or not a lion is pregnant or not at all.

The only real evidence would have been the sighting of cubs. 
But sadly in the Ximhungwes case even if cubs were to exist, their chance of survival are low enough for them to simply have died before being seen. 

The cubs may have existed or not. We will likely never know.

That overconfidence likely might end up very bad for him. 2vs1 against Black Dam males he might recieve heavy beating soon.

S8 is so confident and brave. I think if he had at least one coalition partner, he would have tried taking over the entire Sabi Sand  Wink .

"Daybreak on a crisp cool morning revealed the signs of a struggle during the night. On further investigation we discovered two lionesses guarding the carcass of a Blue Wildebeest, however there was something unusual about the scene, their mother, the adult female of the Southern Pride was nowhere to be found.

Guide and Tracker discussed her possible whereabouts, we knew she was denning somewhere and that she was suspected of having cubs, but it was yet to be confirmed. This got us thinking that maybe, just maybe she had gone off to get her young cubs so they could also feed on the carcass. We made our way to an area we reckoned she might move through, and that was where we stumbled upon her and her 3 healthy, beautiful cubs, slowly and cautiously moving towards the kill her daughters were guarding. We watched on as she led her inquisitive cubs off along one of our winding roads and out of sight."

Quite.  This is especially in contrast to the older Ximhungwe Lioness who cannot seem to raise any viable young passed the denning stage since her daughter was killed.  No stability = no surviving offspring.  Males have to stick around and defend their territory all the time.  This coming and going by the PC Males might spell disaster for the pride.  Haven't heard any news about cubs for the Mangheni Pride.  Looking out for any pictures as confirmation.  Maybe the Mangheni's are not sold on the PCs because they keep leaving for other territories for a long stretch of time??? They are mating all over the place with 3 different prides now instead of staying put with the larger Mangheni Pride.  One male is too dominant over the other, by far.  He's too aggressive.  Plus, this friction causes them to separate for days on end.

@Cath2020 1/5 Mangheni is denning, let's see if she can protect the cubs until they are old enough to be introduced.

As for Ximhungwe, indeed, she's old and even if PCM were to kill NK and Tumbela ( which doesn't seem it will happen any time soon ) there's always new nomads coming and going like Kambulas and Talamatis, and PCM don't are unable to protect all their territories and prides.

We can end up seeing a scenario where this pride fails to raise any cubs until a new coalition takes over the Western Sector and pushes PCM back to Singita, or even takes over everything ( assuming it has the numbers to protect both the Western Sector and Singita like Mapogos, Selatis and Majingilanes did back in the day.
