The UMA——Onza, is a kind of a mysterious feline which looks like a cougar but not a cougar, maybe it will be a posterity of prehistoric american cheetah(Miracinonyx trumani),but others say it may just a hybrid or alternative cougar. For a long history,Onza was playing an role in native american legends, especially in Mexico.

The corpse of Onza, hunted by US hunters Marshall,However, after the examination, it may just a alternative cougar

Does everyone  believe that The  Onza is really belongs to posterity of American cheetah or it just a alternative cougar?

Maybe it belonged to another survival member of the genus Puma, since it is really hard to tell.

@ Smilodon-Rex

In some parts of Mexico onza is what people call jaguarundis. What you posted is cryptozoology.

But I may remember the "Onza" in Spanish means"cheetah", perhaps it shows that the onza will be looked like"the complex of cheetah and puma"

Yes, one of the meanings of onza in spanish is cheetah, but also snow leopard.

Miracinonyxs  not only live in great plain but also can adapt the mountain surroundings,as a matter of fact, their body structure will have some features as same as Snow Leopards. But all in all, Miracinonyxs are more closed to Puma.
