They are seven males, right? And the main pride has 3+1 if you count BYM. The Birmingham Pride is really such a powerhouse of a lion pride.

Yeah I think the guide mentioned 7

Yes, but on the latest 2 sightings of Birmingham breakeaway there where no older young male, he might left the pride as he is quite older then the rest 6. He was seen alone around Orpens month or so ago on.

This "split" situation was definitely the best outcome for him, he is in excellent condition and his permanent limp is barely visible, as he dont have to battle Ross males and has way more food access now from subadults who he can muscle out pretty easly around the kill.

He was even marking, which is quite interesting..his urges to become territorial are kicking in and will be interesting to see if he maybe starts behave as a dominant male of that breakeaway's.

Birmingham Young Male.

"This was definitely one of my most memorable lion sightings! We were lucky enough to spot 10 lions on a fresh buffalo kill - and to top it off, 2 of them were white lions!"

Birminghams on the wildearth sunrise stream, looked like BYM along with another younger male, and 2-3 lionesses. Others might have been hiding somewhere, didn't see the white lions.

Just 8 though. I am bit worried that the lone sub-adult female might bestill alone, as these are 8 with BYM with them (he is the big body lying down behind the white male just left of him on the picture).

Yeah no clue what happened to that girl. Still not sure about the makeup of the Birminghams.

There should be 8 youngsters right including osindle, so 4 female 4 male? But if there's 2 old lionesses with the group it means two of the young females are missing?
