RE: History most brutal killers, the Majingilane Male Lions - Tshokwane - 09-29-2017 Credits to Alistair Smith - Londolozi. The scar-nosed Majingilane male has been seen on his own for quite some time now. A few mornings ago was no different. We watched as he roared while patrolling and scent marking through his territory. *This image is copyright of its original author In the post it says Dark maen, but to me this is Golden mane. *This image is copyright of its original author One of the most incredible moments I have ever witnessed out in the bush! This Majingilane male came running towards us at full speed, trailing an Ntsevu lioness who had stolen a common duiker kill from a leopard moments before. *This image is copyright of its original author
RE: History most brutal killers, the Majingilane Male Lions - NCAT33 - 09-29-2017 @1564 Why is Scar nose spending so much time alone? it can't bode well for the coalition in the long term. I agree. But the three are spending a lot of time alone, now that they've decided to expand once again. They need to be spread out to be able to protect the two prides they already owned, Mangheni and Othawa, and now also their daughters, Ntsevu/Kambula pride. And yeah, eventually it is going to be what brings them down, because one of them could be easily picked apart and killed. But that's how it is, and in their case, they have enough experience to know when to fall back and regroup together again to face any danger, so however it plays out, it's going to be good to watch it. RE: History most brutal killers, the Majingilane Male Lions - sik94 - 09-30-2017 SN better watch his back whenever he is with the kambulas, the birminghams have sensed the instability around malamala/londolozi and seem to be expanding south. With the mantimahles also making sporadic visits it's a hot-spot for conflict. RE: History most brutal killers, the Majingilane Male Lions - vinodkumarn - 10-01-2017 Tonight's Game Drive focused mostly on Lions..... Our Guide Dinamosi Malhenze and Isaac our tracker did a great job in finding the 2 Majingilane males (Golden Mane and Dark Mane) as well as locating a surprise visit from the 2 remaining members of the Ximhungwe pride. The Mhangeni Pride and the Othawa Pride both left the region tonight and headed East, out of our sector. The Majingilane males used to control all of londolozi and a big portion of malamala and the Sparta pride were under their control.
